Up to 5 participantsYou will learn the basics of wheel-throwing with porcelain and have a professional level foundation right from the beginning! Think of it as a 3-month weekly beginners course distilled into 1,5 days.
We will start with intros, a short tour and a show-and-tell of some various cups made by professional potters.
Then we will dive deep into some great exercises that will get you comfortable working with the wheel, centering and porcelain.
The second half of the workshop will be dedicated to producing cups you can enjoy drinking from or you'd be happy and proud to gift to your loved ones.
This is an intensive and long workshop for those who want to get very comfortable with the ABCs of wheel-throwing with porcelain very quickly.
You will be working with 250-500 grams of porcelain clay and may use up to 5 kg of porcelain throughout the workshop.
Expect to make 8-10 cups or bowls in this 1,5 day workshop, even if it is your first time on the wheel, even if you've never touched clay or don't consider yourself artistic or creative.
