The studio was the perfect location for a team event. During a three hour workshop we got to learn about different techniques and paints to decorate a plate.

Ipek and her team were very helpful and enthusiastic and we were amazed by our team's creativity.

We had a lot of fun and Ipek was very generous and forthcoming to those colleagues who required more time.

They were allowed to come back to attend one of her open studio days to finish their work.

“For a team activity we went with 5 colleagues to do a ceramic workshop pottery painting on two plates.

Ipek received us with warmth and hospitality and showed us around her big and beautifully ceramic studio.

She showed us her work and how the studio is structured, it’s very neat and tidy. She showed us some plates of other students of her and inspired us to find a nice idea for your own plates.

So there was an immediate ambiance of creativity and buzz to participate in creating nice drawings on the plate.

Ipek can inspire and help you evolve the ideas in your head. She does that in a natural way and gives you the challenge and amount of individual attention you need.

I will come back and try to follow a porcelain wheel-throwing workshop next time!“

“Recently four of my colleagues and I did a workshop at Clay Studio Leiden and we painted two small ceramic plates each in her studio.

I really enjoyed the experience. The studio has a very pleasant vibe, really relaxed and “gezellig”, as we say in Dutch.

Ipek will assist in both theoretical and practical matters, and really helps you to get the best out of yourself and your creation.

The workshop itself felt very mindful, I was completely absorbed in what my hands were doing, taking all attention out of my head and into the moment. Lovely!

“We went for a workshop glazing at Ipek’s studio as a fun team-building activity.

Ipek welcomed us with champagne and sweet treats. Later she and her assistant explained all possibilities of drawings we could create on our plates and she really took the time to discuss everyone their personal wishes.

It was really special how we all got a very personal treatment, despite our large group. After the brainstorm, we were ready for the drawing and painting.

During the drawing and painting, there was a relaxing vibe. Everyone was working with such concentration, that the whole room fell silent. After the drawing and painting, it was time to glaze.

Ipek noted all our preferences for the glazing and she glazed them for us. After the workshop, we had a dinner at the restaurant ‘Leidse Lente’ downstairs.

The plates were done after a few weeks and they turned out very nice.

The ceramic painting was a very nice activity and Ipek was a lovely teacher. We would recommend the workshop the everyone.”

"I recently booked a private event at Clay Studio Leiden with Ipek, and it was a fantastic experience!

When we arrived, Ipek made my friends and me feel warm and comfortable in her cozy, welcoming studio. We were excited to learn about the glazing process, as many of us were trying it for the first time.

Ipek’s patient guidance and clear instructions made the experience enjoyable for everyone, regardless of skill level.

The atmosphere was relaxed yet creative, and we had so much fun painting our plates. The refreshments were also a lovely touch—Prosecco and coffee were available, adding to the day’s celebratory feel.

One thing I particularly appreciated was Ipek’s excellent communication. She ensured we all understood that the firing process would take one week, so there were no surprises. We were delighted with our finished plates upon picking up the final product!
